Ooty, a famous hill town of South Indian state Tamil Nadu is also known as Ootacamund or Udhagamandalam. Settling itself on the foothills of  Nilgiri, the Blue Mountains, it draws towards itself a large number of local tourists all around the year. It used to be a summer retreat during the British times. Famous as the Queen of Hills , it has a long list of of tourist spots in Ooty.
